With Evenley having such a beautiful village green, Summer Sundays just wouldn't be right without the obligatory cricket match on the 'Green'.
The Evenley Cricket Club actively promote the involvement of youth players and are currently working on a programme to create a youth training facility. The club also enjoys an active social calendar, with many events throughout the year from quizzes, to dinner dances and sporting trips, involving all the family and friends too.
The Village Hall clubs
The Village Hall is home to the Youth Club on Friday evenings during term time, which welcomes all youngsters who are aged from 11 to 18 years. The club is a general drop-in club offering pool, snooker; table tennis; table soccer; play station and games.
The Garden Society meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, and in summer, evening visits are arranged to local gardens and garden centres.
Finally, The Bridge Club meets every Wednesday evening from 7 - 10.30 pm and new members are always welcome (previous experience desirable).
